Three more bodies were recovered on Friday from the Bheri River suspension bridge collapse site in Surket district in western Nepal, raising the death toll to 20.
According to eKantipur.com website report, the bodies of two women and a child were found by recovery teams near the bridge. The bodies have not been identified, the police said.
Over 300 people were estimated to have been on the bridge when the mishap occurred Tuesday afternoon. They were crossing the river to participate in a yearly fair on the other side of the river.
The heavily-crowded bridge, some 375 km west of capital Kathmandu, collapsed after a support pillar at one end collapsed under the weight.
