Kim Yong-nam, top legislator of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), sent a message of condolences to Pakistan Pervez Musharraf over the sudden demise of Benazir Bhutto, the Korean Central News Agency reported on Saturday.

In the message which was delivered on Friday, Kim expressed deep condolences to the Pakistani president and Bhutto's family, the report said.

The 54-year-old Bhutto, leader of the Pakistan People's Party, was assassinated on Thursday after addressing an election rally in the garrison city of Rawalpindi, which is about 30 km south of Islamabad.
