Sri Lankan legislator shot dead in Colombo |

A legislator from Sri Lanka's opposition United National Party (UNP) died in hospital after being shot at in capital Colombo on Tuesday, hospital officials said.
UNP legislator T. Mahesweran was shot by unidentified gunmen earlier Tuesday near a Hind Temple and admitted to hospital, officials said.
Local media said his body guard also died of gun shot injuries and six more were injured.
