354.6 kg heroin seized at border post in NW Turkey |

A total of 354.6 kg heroin was seized at Kapikule Border Post in northwestern Turkey, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported on Tuesday.
The report said that Turkish police stopped a truck at the border post heading for a foreign country two days ago and found this large amount of heroin.
The police also detained two suspected people including the truck driver, added the report.
Turkey is a key transit route for smuggling drugs from Asia and the Middle East to markets in western Europe. Source: Xinhua
