Afghan President Hamid Karzai held meeting with parliamentarians and former Jihadi leaders to inform them about the expelling of two European diplomas and his latest visit to Pakistan, said a statement released by the presidential office.
Karzai reiterated at the meeting that the two expelled European diplomats would not be allowed to come back to Afghanistan any more for their purported meetings with the Taliban militants in the southern province of Helmand, the statement said.
And all the attendants welcomed the government's decision on the issue above.
At the meeting, Karzai also expressed grief and shock over the death of Pakistan's former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto and said relationships between the two countries will be as ever strong as before.
Besides, Karzai called on donor countries to make greater coordination to help the war-torn Afghanistan in the process of reconstruction. Source: Xinhua
