An earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale rattled Tasikmalaya, in Indonesia's West Java province, on Sunday, but there were no reports of casualties.
Another quake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale also rocked Bengkulu, Sumatra on Sunday.
The Geophysics and Meteorology Agency (BMG) reported on its website that the quake in West Java occurred at 3:54 p.m. and originated 262 kilometers southwest of Tasikmalaya at a depth of 10 kilometers.
The temblor in Bengkulu struck at 5:06 p.m., 68 kilometers southwest of Bintuhan, Bengkulu at a depth of 38 kilometers. Source:Xinhua
