A strong earthquake rocked Indonesia's Papua province Monday, no immediate reports of damage or injuries, the Indonesian Meteorological and Geophysics Agency said.
The quake hit at 12:12 p.m. (0312 GMT) and had a preliminary magnitude of 6.2, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The earthquake struck at a depth of 35 kilometers off the northern coast of Papua, around 3,090 kilometers east of capital Jakarta, the USGS said.
