Kim Jong-il, top leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) made a visit to the construction site of the Ryesonggang Power Station, the official leading newspaper Rodong Sinmun reported on Monday.

It's the first public visit of the DPRK's top leader being reported by local media in the year of 2008.
