Argentine President Christina Fernandez has opened her personal channel on the world's largest on-line video carrier YouTube, local media reported Saturday.
Tens of thousands visits were paid to her channel since it was first opened last April when the then first lady was preparing her presidential campaign.
So far, 71 video clips could be found on the channel, and the one featuring a speech by Fernandez at the George Washington University during her visit to the United States last year was most frequently viewed.
The president shared her memories of former First Lady Eva Duarte De Peron in the passionate speech. Many people have compared Fernandez with Eva Peron, who rose from obscurity to fame and was once one of the most influential people in Argentina in the 1940s.
