A Texas man was accused of abducting and raping five men in Baytown in eight months, 2006, and was finally convicted Tuesday of sexually assaulting a teenager among them at gunpoint, media reports said Wednesday.

The 17-year-old victim whose name was not released said he was blindfolded by the assailant with duct tape, his hands were tied behind his back with zip ties and was forced in the back seat of an SUV to perform oral sex. He also reported he was hit on the back of the head with a gun eight or nine times.

Keith Hill, 20, the defendant, pleaded not guilty to the attacks, claiming that his confession to Harris County Sheriff's Shane McCoy in February was coerced after six hours of interrogation by the police.

But prosecutor Spence Graham rebutted his plea, testifying that Hill's semen was found on the victim's shirt and his confession included information that only the actual assailant could know, so it was not hard for the jury to convict him.

Hill could receive a sentence ranging from five years' probation to life in prison after being convicted of aggravated sexual assault.

Other victims would be called to testify "and try to convince this jury that this defendant is someone that is very dangerous and needs to be dealt with accordingly," said Graham.
