French President Nicolas Sarkozy will meet with visiting Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Monday afternoon, French presidential spokesman David Martinon said in a weekly press conference on Sunday.
Sarkozy and Lee will hold talks on bilateral relations, political policies and economic plans, as well as cultural cooperation.
They will also talk about the regional situation, international issues, and cooperation between the European Union and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN)).
Sarkozy met with Lee Kwan Yew, former prime minister and father of Lee Hsien Loong, on June 27, 2007 in Paris, where Lee, as Singapore's Minister Mentor attended the Total International Advisory Committee meeting.
