The United States reiterated Tuesday that the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) needs to declare all its nuclear programs.
"We're going to continue working with our close allies, Japan and South Korea, and our partners, China and Russia, as we urge North Korea to deliver a complete and correct declaration of all its nuclear programs, including its nuclear weapons and programs facilities and proliferation activities and to complete the agreed disablement activities at the three core facilities at Yongbyon," State Department acting spokesman Gonzalo Gallegos said.
The six-party talks held in Beijing in February last year reached a nuclear deal, in which the DPRK agreed to disable its nuclear reactor and declare all nuclear programs and facilities by the end of last year to pave the way for dismantlement. However, the DPRK missed the deadline, although there was reported progress in its nuclear declaration.
