Russian President Vladimir Putin said here Friday that Moscow categorically disagrees with unilateral proclamation of the independence of Kosovo, Interfax news agency reported.

"At today's meeting I have once again confirmed that Russia is categorically against unilateral proclamation of Kosovo's independence," Putin told journalists after talks with Serbian President Boris Tadic and Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica.
