The Election Commission (EC) of Thailand on Tuesday endorsed three other winning candidates of the by-elections, completing the endorsement of balloting results for 480 MPs and bringing the Dec. 23 election to a close.
"The EC has just finished its job in filling every House seat," EC Secretary General Suthiphon Thaveechaigarn said during a local television interview.
The final batch of endorsed results included three MPs from two constituencies which held the fourth round of by-election on Jan. 27.
Of the three MPs, two are from Matchima Thipataya Party and one is People Power Party's Chaiwat Sapruangthong.
After last year's general election on Dec. 23, the EC disqualified more than two dozens of winning candidates due to suspected election frauds. The election agency held four rounds of by elections in January, full-filled all the 480 seats of the Parliament. Source: Xinhua
