Pakistani Foreign Minister Inam ul Haque will chair a meeting of Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) in Saudi Arabia on Feb. 3, a Foreign Office statement said on Saturday.
Inam ul Haque will chair the "Open-Ended Extraordinary Meeting of the OIC Executive Committee" in Jeddah, a city located in western Saudi Arabia, said the statement.
The Committee will deliberate on the latest developments in Palestine, particularly in Gaza. The Executive Committee members include Malaysia, Qatar, Senegal, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Uganda, Saudi Arabia and Secretary General (ex-officio member). The Palestinian Authority, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Egypt and Turkey will also participate in the meeting.
Currently Pakistan is the chair of the Islamic Conference of Foreign Ministers.
