Six people have been killed in traffic accidents caused by snowstorms in central and southern Sweden in recent days, media reports said Sunday.
On Sunday morning, a mother and daughter in a Danish-registered car were killed in the Vaermland region, during a collision with another car. The husband of the dead woman and their two other children were seriously injured, as were the two occupants of the other car.
In southern Sweden's Skaane region Sunday, a passenger died after being thrown out of a car when it slid off the road and hit a post.
Also in the Vaermland region, a car collided head-on with a truck due to icy road conditions last Thursday. The occupants of the car, a 17-year-old boy and his parents, died on the spot.
