Political parties considered close to Nepali king are all set to form an alternative alliance to the Seven-Party Alliance (SPA) for the Constituent Assembly (CA)elections, local leading media group's website eKantipur reported Tuesday.
A comprehensive assembly is due to take place on Tuesday, exactly opposite to Nepali police headquarters, at Naxal in capital Kathmandu to form a pro-monarch alliance.
Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal (RPP-Nepal) is organizing the assembly.
RPP-Nepal leader Roshan Karki informed that more than 30 parties, which believe that monarchy is necessary for democracy and nationalism, are participating in the meeting. The appeal has been initiated for unity in the CA polls, he added.
