An Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) belonging to the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) crashed near the parameters of the Peshawar Air Base in the country's northwest, the PAF said Friday.

The UAV came down while on a routine flight, a PAF statement said, adding that it crashed due to technical fault.

The statement said that no loss of life occurred on ground but a local TV channel reported that two children were injured when the UAV came down near them.
