Afghan police foil terrorist attack |

Police in Afghanistan's southern Kandahar province identified a car laden with explosive material and defused it, a press release of Interior Ministry issued Monday said.
"Police with the support of intelligence service located a Corolla car loaded with explosive devices in Kandahar city and defused it before exploding by enemies," the press release added.
However, it did not say the exact date of the discovery but added that police would do its best to protect the life and property of citizens.
More than 150 people almost all civilians were killed in three suicide attacks and bombings in Kandahar last week.
