A bomb attack Tuesday injured a candidate for the National Assembly in Pakistan's tribal region, according to local press reports.
Syed Riaz Hussain, affiliated with the Pakistan People's Party, came under attack near Sadda, a major town in Kurrum Agency bordering Afghanistan, when he was going for election campaign in his car.
Three others in the car were also injured and were taken to the local hospital.
The private NNI news agency quoted witnesses as saying that all the injured were stated to be in critical condition.
Hussain escaped unhurt in a suicide bomb attack on his election office on Feb. 16 which killed over 50 people and injured around 200 others
The Election Commission of Pakistan postponed elections after the deadly suicide attack two days before the parliamentary polls scheduled on Feb. 18.
No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
