Nepali Minister for Sports and Education Pradeep Nepal said here on Tuesday that there is a need for a new entry point between Nepal and China besides the Khasa-Tatopani border in order to facilitate people traveling between the two countries.
Speaking at a launching ceremony of the magazine "Ajako Tibet" (Today's Tibet) in Nepali capital Kathmandu on Tuesday, Minister Nepal noted that although relation between Nepal and People's Republic of China is getting even closer these days, people are still facing problem to visit their closest neighbor as there is only one entry point in Tatopani.
He also noted that the relationship between Nepal and Tibet Autonomous Region of China is getting more profound and extending day by day.
Also speaking on the occasion, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Zheng Xianglin said that the publication of the magazine would work as yet another bridge and platform to strengthen understanding and increase friendly relationship between people from two countries.
Ambassador Zheng also said most of the economic cooperation and trade between China and Nepal and almost half of the personnel exchanges are materialized through Khasa-Tatopani border.
Ambassador Zheng also congratulated World Cultural Nepal for publishing the magazine in Nepali for the first time which introduces the ethnic groups, religion, culture, art and unique custom of China's Tibet.
