Different armed Palestinian groups on Tuesday said they had fired projectiles into Israeli targets alongside Gaza Strip borders.
The National Resistance Brigades of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) said it fired a home-made rocket into an Israeli army base near Sufa commercial crossing in southeastern Gaza Strip.
In a statement sent to the press, the brigades said the shelling was in response to Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, the Popular Resistance Committees (PRC), a pro-Hamas armed group, said its militants fired ten mortar shells into an Israeli army post also in southeastern Gaza Strip.
Early in the morning, a Palestinian rocket hit an Israeli house in Sderot city, the Israeli radio reported, adding the missile caused no damage or injuries.
So far no group has claimed the responsibility for that attack.
