Palestinian information minister on Tuesday denied reports that the acting government, led by SalamFayyad, was going to be reshuffled.
"The government still enjoys full support from President Mahmoud Abbas and there is nothing indicating an imminent change on the government," said Riyadh al-Maliki who is also the government's spokesman.
On Monday, a spokesman for Abbas' Fatah movement said the President tends to expand the acting government and turn it into permanent without having the confidence from the parliament which is controlled by rival Hamas movement.
Abbas asked Fayyad, who is not a member of Fatah, to form the government last June when Hamas ousted Fatah from Gaza Strip and took over the coastal strip.
There is a criticism from Fatah of Fayyad's performance since most of the ministers were supporting Fayyad's Third Way party.
