Singapore's founding father, Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew, will visit Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain from March 1 to 7.
A statement from prime minister's office said Friday that during his three-day stay in Dubai, Lee will deliver an address at the launch of the Investment Corporation of Dubai, and meet Sheikh Mohammed, the Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Al-Maktoum, as well as other key leaders and businessmen.
The former prime minister will then visit Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, from March 3 to 5.
He will speak at the Riyadh Economic Forum organized by the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and also meet with members of the Saudi Royal family, senior officials and leading Saudi businessmen, said the statement.
From March 5 to 7, Lee will visit Manama, Bahrain, to meet Crown Prince Sheikh Salman and other members of the Bahraini Royal family and Cabinet, senior officials, as well as leading Bahraini businessmen.
He will be accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister S. Jayakumar and other senior officials. Source: Xinhua
