The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) Friday accused the United States and South Korea of committing more than 170 cases of aerial espionage against it in February, the official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported.

The U.S. forces perpetrated at least 100 cases of aerial espionage against the DPRK, and the South Korean forces more than 70 cases, the news agency said, quoting a military source.

The DPRK said the U.S. air force committed more than 25 cases of aerial espionage by U-2 strategic espionage planes this month.

In January, the United States and South Korean forces committed more than 160 cases of aerial espionage against the DPRK, said the KCNA.
