Two U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq

Two American soldiers were killed in two incidents on Wednesday, the U.S. military said on Thursday.

A soldier was killed when his vehicle was hit by a roadside bomb during a patrol in central Baghdad, a military statement said.

Another soldier died at about 6:30 a.m. (0330 GMT) due to non-combat related wounds, a brief military statement without specifying where or how the soldier died.

On Wednesday, the U.S. military announced the death of four of its soldiers across Iraq, including one died of non-combat relatedcause.

The latest deaths came as brings the number of U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq to about 4,030 since the Iraq war broke out in 2003,according to media count based on Pentagon figures.
