Strong earthquake rocks Nicobar Islands, India |

A strong earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale rocked waters off Nicobar Islands, India at 07:43 a.m. (2343 GMT) Thursday, according to a bulletin released by the Hong Kong Observatory.
The epicenter was initially determined to be 7.1 degrees north latitude and 92.6 degrees east longitude.
There has been no immediate report of casualties or damage so far.
