The Indonesian Government has strongly condemned suicide bombings in Karachi, Pakistan, which killed more than 130 people on Thursday evening.
"The Indonesian government strongly condemns the terrorist attack," a spokesman of the Indonesian foreign affairs ministry, Kristiarto Soeryo Legowo, said on Friday.
Indonesia hoped that those responsible could be arrested and legally process in Pakistan for the sake of upholding justice, he said.
"The Indonesian government expresses sympathy and sends condolences to families of the victims and the Government of Pakistan," the spokesman added.
Two suicide bombings targeting former Pakistan premier Benazir Bhutto, who just returned from an exile, killed at least 138 people and injuring hundreds of others. She was not injured in the attack.
