Thai ousted prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra's three children cast their votes in Bangkok's Bang Plad district Sunday morning.
Thaksin's son, Panthongtae accompanied his two younger sisters, Pinthongta and Paethongtan, went to the polling station in district 12 early Sunday morning without talking much to reporters, according to a report from the Bangkok Post's website.
Pinthongta only stated that her father "misses Thailand" and wants to return as soon as possible.
On Dec. 21, People Power Party member Chalerm Yubamroong delivered a public speech in which he claimed that Thaksin was due to return on Feb. 14.
Panthongtae did not confirm the report, saying only that his father will return home "whenever he gets the chance to."
Thaksin, the former prime minister who was ousted during a military coup last year, is reportedly in Hong Kong on Sunday monitoring the general election. Source: Xinhua
