Musharraf vows to find Bhutto's killers |

Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf Tuesday said that his government was committed to finding those behind the assassination of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto and bringing them to justice.
Musharraf made the remarks while talking to a group of British investigators from the Scotland Yard who called on him inRawalpindi, according to a report by state-run Radio Pakistan.
The Scotland Yard team is in Pakistan on the request of the Pakistani government to help in the probe of assassination of Bhutto, who was killed on Nov. 27 after she addressed a huge election rally in Rawalpindi, some 30 km south of the capital Islamabad.
Musharraf thanked the British government for the prompt response on the Pakistani government's request for assistance. He expressed the hope that the forensic and technical expertise of the Scotland Yard would greatly supplement the efforts of local investigators in finding the facts.
He assured the British investigators of his government's and all the investigating agencies' fullest support and cooperation in the search for perpetrators of the heinous crime, said the report.
The British investigators thanked Musharraf and the Pakistani government for the assistance and cooperation provided to them.
They assured him of finding the facts through thorough investigation into Bhutto's assassination.
