The Indonesian presidential medical team said here on Sunday that the condition of former president Soeharto was very very critical and he suffered multiple organs' failure.

"The general condition of Soeharto acutely deteriorated from 1 a.m. this morning. His breath is 100 percent replaced by ventilator now, and blood pressure keeps going down, namely from 90/35 mm Hg to 70/35 mm Hg," the top physician, Dr. Mardjo Soebiandono, said at Pertamina Central Hospital where Soeharto is treated.

He added that all his organs failed and his condition became the worst since he was admitted to hospital at the beginning of this month. Doctors were trying their best to resuscitate him.
