Robert Mueller, Director of Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), will start a two-day official visit to Cambodia on Wednesday to meet with the Prime Minister Hun Sen and government officials, according to the U.S. Embassy in Cambodia.

Mueller's visit to Cambodia should be considered as a further indication of expanding cooperation between the two countries' law enforcement agencies, Cambodian-language newspaper the Kampuchear Thmey on Wednesday quoted the embassy as saying.

Although the time and place of the meeting remained known, the U.S. Embassy said Meuller would definitely meet with Hun Sen in person. The purpose of the meeting has yet to be revealed in details.

Mueller will also preside over the official opening of FBI's office in Phnom Penh.
