An earthquake measuring 5.0 Ritcher scale shot Aceh province in Sumatra Island on Monday. No report of damages or casualty, meteorology agency said here.
The quake rocked at 12:22 Jakarta time (0522 GMT) with epicenter at 89 kilometers southwest Sinabang of the province and at 30 kilometers in depth, an official of the agency said.
