Eight in 10 Singaporeans have shopped online, with travel-related products such as plane tickets and hotel rooms the most popular buy, local media reported on Monday.
The Straits Times, Singapore's leading English daily newspaper, quoted the latest Nielsen Global Online Survey as saying that 39 percent of Singaporeans bought something online within the past month.
The most popular items bought online in the city state are travel-related products such as plane tickets, hotel rooms and tours, followed by clothing, event tickets and books.
