A job aspirant in Nepal has to pay only 970.28 U.S. dollars before being recruited in South Korea under the Employment Permit System (EPS) of Korean government, local media reported on Monday.
Issuing a statement on Sunday, the Ministry of Labor and Transport Management said the exam of Korean Language Test would be held on March 29-30.
A total of 31,525 job seekers have applied for the exam, which is going to be held at 20 exam centers in capital Kathmandu.
The ministry has cautioned that job aspirants to beware of any individual making false promises of job opportunity in South Korea, a lucrative labor destination.
According to The Kathmandu Post, EPS allows South Korean employers to fulfill labor deficit in domestic market by recruiting foreign workers who would be entitled to equal wages and other benefits with their South Korean counterparts.
