NATO soldier killed, 2 others injured in S Afghanistan |

One soldier from the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) was killed and two others were injured on Monday in a combat with insurgents in southern Afghanistan, said an ISAF statement.
"The injured soldiers were evacuated to the ISAF medical facilities by emergency response helicopters where they are being treated," it added.
In accordance with ISAF policy, ISAF does not release the casualty's nationality prior to the relevant national authority.
According to the other ISAF statement released on Monday, two British soldiers on Sunday were killed in an explosion while committing a routine patrol in southern Afghanistan.
Soldiers mostly form U.S., Britain and Canada have been deployed in the volatile southern Afghanistan for fighting militants and helping reconstruction in the country.
Conflicts and Taliban-related violence have killed more than 300 people so far this year in Afghanistan.
