The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) appointed its new ambassador to the United Nations, the official news agency KCNA said Monday.
Sin Son Ho was appointed as the new DPRK permanent representative at the U.N. in a decree of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, said the KCNA.
Sin was the vice-representative of the DPRK at the U.N., under his predecessor, Pak Gil Yon, who was at the position for 18 years.
The DPRK has no diplomatic relations with the U.S., but it often communicates with the Americans through its U.N. mission. Source:Xinhua
