Chairman of Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) (CPN-M) Prachanda on Monday urged political parties not to shy away from past agreements and understanding.
Stating that no body should shy away from past agreements and understandings, he called on everybody to work in collaboration to form a "government of consensus" and establish sustainable peace in the country.
"No body can run away from past agreements and understanding, that of forming a government of consensus. Even though the people gave a clear mandate to Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) (CPN-M) for establishing sustainable peace in the country, it can be achieved only after all parties move ahead in tandem with each other," Prachanda said.
The CPN-M chairman was speaking at a program organized in the capital to felicitate all the candidates from the Kathmandu valley who emerged victorious in April 10 polls.
Prachanda stated that a peaceful and prosperous Nepal cannot be constructed without the harmonization of all the political parties adding that the parties should continue to work together until a new constitution is drafted. Source:Xinhua
