The Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) (CPN-M) spokesperson and Information and Communications Minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara Thursday said his party was ready to form a single-party government if the other parties did not agree to forge an alliance with the CPN-M at the helm.
Addressing a mass meeting of trade union workers on the occasion of International Labor Day, Mahara said CPN-M will give first priority to a consensus government but was ready to form a single-party government if consensus did not come about.
Mahara also said that the new Maoist-led government would launch an economic revolution in the country and would never compromise the interest of laborers.
According to him, CPN-M will mobilize Nepali people to build a new country. "The new government will work a miracle in the field of infrastructure development within three years," he prophesied. Source: Xinhua
