A powerful blast early Saturday morning at a village in northwestern Pakistan damaged ten shops including two CD centers, according to the official APP news agency.

A remote controlled devise was planted in one of two CD centers and the blast caused losses to property worth tens of thousands of U.S. dollars.

Meanwhile, the police have said that a 20-kg heavy bomb has been defused by the bomb disposal squad. The police have registered cases against unknown miscreants and started investigations.
