One Pakistani soldier was injured in a suspected Taliban attack in northwestern tribal region, local media reported on Monday.
Suspected Taliban militants attacked a patrolling team of the security forces in South Waziristan tribal agency, the News Network International (NNI) reported.
The report said militants of Baitullah Mehsood group, Pakistan Taliban Movement, used automatic weapons to target the security forces in the Spinkai Raghzai area at noon.
The soldier was taken to a military hospital.
