A roadside bomb Tuesday hit a police trainers' vehicle in southern Afghan city of Kandahar, leaving three police trainers and two civilians wounded, a police officer said.

The blast generated by an improvised explosive device took place at about 7 a.m. local time as the vehicle carrying police training crew was moving around the provincial capital, Muhammad Noor Khan, a police officer on the spot told Xinhua.

There has been no immediate responsibility claim.
