Newly appointed Indian Ambassador to Nepal Rakesh Sood met with Chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) (CPN-M) Prachanda here on Thursday.

During the meeting, Sood and Prachanda discussed the formation procedures of the next government, possible coordination among the political parties and the anticipated meeting of the Constituent Assembly (CA), reported the local media house's website eKantipur.

On Wednesday, the Indian envoy met with Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala and discussed latest political situation of mutual concern and formation of the next government in Nepal.
