A large United States military aircraft with aid supplies landed at the Yangon International Airport Monday afternoon for delivery to cyclone-hit regions through the Myanmar authorities.

It was the first planeload of humanitarian aid supplies by the U.S. which are allowed to enter Yangon for delivery to homeless cyclone survivors nine days after Myanmar's southwestern part and Yangon were devastated by a deadly cyclone storm Nargis on May 2 and 3.
