An explosion was heard in southwestern Pakistan's Quetta city on Wednesday, local TV channel DAWN NEWS reported.

The explosion occurred at Kalat Street on Jail Road in Quetta, capital of Balochistan province, police said.

Currently details concerning the explosion are not available and there is no report of casualties in the incident.
