Thailand's Interior Minister Chalerm Yubamrung on Wednesday expressed confidence about the stability of the coalition government led by Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej.

Chalerm, speaking at the parliament, said the coalition parties are 100 percent united.

His statement came after Chart Thai party leader Banharn Silpa-archa said he was considering about withdrawing his party from the government.

Chalerm said he is certain that Banharn is sincere and will not betray the government.
