The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) said Sunday that inter-Korean economic projects have been jeopardized due to the South Korean government's in cooperative policy, the official news agency KCNA reported.
The South Korean government refused to implement the agreements on customs clearance, communication and transportation, reached in the inter-Korean summit last October, said a spokesman for the DPRK's delegation to inter-Korean military talks.
The two sides jointly operated an industrial complex in Kaesong, a town north of inter-Korean border, and a tourism business to Mount Kumgang in the DPRK's eastern coast.
The South Korean government's in cooperative policy has put the inter-Korean relations into crisis and caused severe aftermath to the economic cooperation between the two sides, said the spokesman.
The Korean People's Army has to consider taking "military defense measures," the spokesman added. Source:Xinhua
