The official news agency KCNA of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) accused U.S. lawmakers on Thursday of hampering the denuclearization process by trying to postpone the delisting of the DPRK from the U.S. terrorism blacklist.

Some U.S. lawmakers recently submitted a bill requiring President George W. Bush to postpone measures to remove the DPRK from the list of "state sponsors of terrorism," KCNA said.

The move embodied their hostile policy toward the DPRK, it said, adding that the country will make corresponding moves depending on the future actions of the United States.

Pyongyang handed over the long-awaited nuclear declaration list late last month and then blew up a cooling tower in its main nuclear reactor at Yongbyon.

Washington accordingly started the process of delisting the DPRK from its list of state sponsors of terrorism if the country meets all its obligations under the six-party talks.
