Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said on Friday that the United Nations would form a commission to probe into the assassination of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto, local TV reported.

Qureshi, after holding a meeting with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in New York, told reporters that Ban assured to bestow commission for probing into Bhutto's assassination, said private Geo TV.

Benazir Bhutto, also former leader of Pakistan People's Party, was killed at the gate of Liaquat Bagh park in the city of Rawalpindi on Dec. 27, 2007 after addressing an election rally.
