A moderate earthquake with magnitude of 5.4 rocked eastern parts of Indonesia on Saturday, no reports of damage or casualty, according to the country's meteorology agency.
The quake struck at 03:40 Jakarta time (2040 GMT Friday) with epicenter at 66 km southeast Raba of East Nusa Tenggara province and at 10 km in depth, an official of the agency said.
Indonesia sits at a vulnerable zone called "the Pacific Ring of Fire" where two continental plates, stretching from the Western Hemisphere through Japan and Southeast Asia, meet that cause frequent volcanic movements.
